of 7 seconds, no additional absorption was scheduled or desired to maintain the unique character of the hall. Rahe-Kraft was appointed to design a multichannel-surround-system which could provide a clear surround experience for the guests despite the difficult room-acoustic conditions. The solution was the use of four long line-arrays with each 8 x Meyer Sound M'elody surrounding the audience. The arrays were enhanced for low frequencies by 24 M1D-Subs which were places in two long lines below the audience podiums. The system was then fine-tuned by Peter Rahe.
The result was an almost invisible Sound System which delivered a crisp and natural surround sound with lots of low energy despite the room-acoustic conditions. Not only the guests but also the client and the composer of the music piece
Senjan
Jansen were delighted with the sound.
